The Network Court, constituted today as the court of the Velocity Interoperability Network, will sit in four divisions. The General Division hears disputes between member organisations that mediation has not resolved. The Standards Division rules on the meaning and application of Network rules and interoperability standards. The Enforcement Division hears applications brought by Network departments. The Appeals Division hears appeals against the decisions of Network offices and of the five tribunals of the Network.

Each division sits on fixed days. The Enforcement Division sits on Mondays, the General Division on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Standards Division on Wednesdays and the Appeals Division on Fridays. The first sittings take place on Monday 14 September 2026. Where a matter is urgent, the presiding judge may direct that it be listed on any day.

The Registry of the Network Court accepts lodgements by email from today. A statement of the matter must set out the parties, the rule or standard relied on, the facts and the order sought, and must be accompanied by a mediation certificate where the matter is a dispute between members. The Registry acknowledges a lodgement within five working days and serves it on the other parties.

The divisions, their composition and their sitting days are set out on the Courts and Tribunals page of this site. Enquiries to the Registry may be sent to contact@justice.gov.vin.
