Justice Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network Established

The Justice Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network has been formally established. The Department administers the Network Court, provides for the resolution of disputes between member organisations, and is responsible for the enforcement of the rules of the Network.
The Network Court hears matters arising under the Network's rules and standards, including disputes between members that have not been resolved by mediation, applications by Network departments for enforcement orders, and appeals against decisions of Network offices. Members are expected to attempt mediation through the Department's Dispute Resolution Service before lodging a matter with the Court.
With its establishment complete, the Department today launches its official website at justice.gov.vin. The site will carry press releases, official statements, and guidance on lodging matters with the Court and on the stages of dispute resolution.
Further announcements regarding the Court's rules of procedure, sitting arrangements, and points of contact will be published in the Newsroom as they become available.
